Origin Story
Some stories begin with a spark. Buttercup Wren’s began in nature — in the rustling of leaves, the croaking of frogs at the edge of a pond, and the quiet wisdom of trees that seem to know exactly what you need to hear.
Buttercup Wren is the pen name of a Certified Nutritionist and Usui Reiki Master who has spent over a decade in the Natural Products Industry, traveling across the country as a Regional Sales Manager and Educator, bringing holistic wellness knowledge to families and communities. Along the way, a quieter calling took shape — the desire to bring healing, wonder, and the magic of the natural world to children through picture books.
What emerged was Raindrop Production and a series of luminously illustrated fairy-world adventures that feel both timeless and quietly profound. Each book in the collection centers a fairy, a creature, or a corner of nature — and each carries a gentle but powerful message: that we are never alone, that the natural world is always listening, and that kindness is its own kind of magic.
Buttercup Wren is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and an affiliate member of the International Center for Reiki Training. She writes for the child who curls up with a story and the parent who hopes that story will stay with them long after the lights go out.
