For Buttercup Wren, every story starts exactly there.
Buttercup Wren is the pen name of a Certified Nutritionist and Usui Reiki Master whose life’s work has always centered on one purpose: nurturing wellbeing in the people and communities around her.
Over a decade spent working across the Natural Products Industry as a Regional Sales Manager and Educator took her across the country, bringing holistic wellness knowledge to families, practitioners, and communities in ways that were accessible, warm, and deeply human.
But alongside that professional journey, a quieter calling was taking shape. A calling to bring healing, wonder, and the profound wisdom of the natural world directly to children, not through instruction, but through story.
That calling became Raindrop Production. As a children’s book author and nutritionist, Buttercup brings a rare and intentional perspective to children’s literature.
Her books are not simply fairy tales. They are carefully layered narratives where nature heals, community protects, and kindness quietly transforms. Where a frog’s lost voice becomes a lesson in leaning on others. Where a little fairy finding her way home becomes a meditation on courage and belonging, where a moonlit beach becomes a classroom in environmental stewardship.
Buttercup Wren is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and an affiliate member of the International Center for Reiki Training. She writes for the child curled up under a blanket at bedtime, and for the parent beside them who hopes the story will still be living in their child’s heart long after the lights go out.
